Tommaso Prinetti
How can design and non-human objects, crafted as devices, help us explore the mutual resonance between LLMs and users?
Research Assistant
After completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano, where he gained deep experience at the DensityDesign Lab working on communication and data-driven projects, Tommaso Prinetti pursued a Master’s Degree in Communication Design at the same institution. Building on his multidisciplinary background, he joined Sciences Po’s médialab under the supervision of Donato Ricci to contribute to the EL2MP project.
His work focuses on crafting devices that explore the dynamic mutual resonance between humans and non-human objects, such as large language models (LLMs), to deepen understanding and foster research practices. By integrating data analysis with storytelling, his approach leverages LLMs as active research collaborators, creating tools and workflows that enhance interdisciplinary research and communication.
Previously, Tommaso’s interest in design and data visualization led him to develop intuitive communication tools, automate workflows, and craft narrative-driven visualizations. His experience spans projects that bridge technology, design, and research, contributing to impactful solutions in diverse contexts.
