Doctor of Philosophy and Social Sciences from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), holder of a PhD from Laval University (Canada), authorized to direct research in social sciences from Paris Descartes University (Faculty of SHS), he is Professor of Social Sciences and Ethics at the Institut Mines-Télécom Business School (IMT-BS) and teaches at the Télécom SudParis engineering school (member of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris). He is qualified by the Conseil National des Universités (CNU) as a University Professor in "Philosophy" (section 17), "Sociology" (section 19) and "Epistemology. History of Science and Technology" (section 72).

He is also a researcher at the Institut Interdisciplinaire d'Anthropologie du Contemporain (IIAC/ LACI), UMR 8177 CNRS / EHESS where he is co-responsible for the "Epistemological Stakes of Criticism" axis, guest researcher at the Medialab of Sciences Po-Paris and member of the Scientific and Research Council of the Ecole Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) of Reims. From 2011 to 2019, he taught at the University of Paris (within the Master "Contemporary Societies: political, ethical and social issues" of the Faculty of SHS - Descartes). Since October 2017, he co-directs with Valérie Charolles a seminar at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) entitled "Socio-philosophy of the present time. Enjeux épistémologiques, méthodologiques et critiques" .
