Virgile Desvignes is a PhD student in sociology at the medialab, under the supervision of Jean-Samuel Beuscart. Combining qualitative and quantitative approaches, his research focuses on the circulation of content relating to the environmental footprint of digital technology, its appropriation by economic circles and its transformation into a repertoire for action.
Virgile holds a Master's degree in Innovation and Digital Transformation from Sciences Po and a Master's degree in General Sociology from EHESS. He worked for three years at a design agency specialising in reducing the ecological footprint of organisations' digital activities.
