Antoine is a PhD candidate in Politics and International Studies at the University of Cambridge, currently visiting at the médialab as part of the Campo exchange program. His research seeks to shed light on the normative implications of conflictual political discussion enabled and amplified by social media. His broader research interests encompass radical political thought, democratic theory, the history of communication technology, and populism.
Antoine previously studied at SciencesPo and Columbia University, from which he graduated summa cum laude in 2016, before earning a MPhil in Politics and International Studies with distinction from the University of Cambridge.
At the médialab, Antoine is conducting empirical research on French-language online discussions by deploying a blend of statistical tools, digital ethnography, and qualitative interviews.
