Research Fellow in Quantitative Analysis

is a new research programme that will be launched in January 2015 by Sorbonne Paris Cité (SPC), a consortium of higher education institutions. The programme gathers 20+ research laboratories, originating from five different institutions: Sciences Po (coordinator), University Paris Descartes, University Paris Diderot, University Paris 13, and the Institute for Globe Physics (IPGP).

This interdisciplinary programme lies at the interface of social, natural and Earth sciences, as it seeks to apprehend the new research challenges brought upon by the Anthropocene, a new epoch where humans are the key driving forces of changes on the planet. In particular, the programme is centred on the representations and government of these new challenges and data. It is coordinated by Bruno Latour, Professor at Sciences Po, and is organised in three research clusters: Geopolitics of Carbon Dioxides; Expertise of Risks and Mediatisation of Disasters; Dynamics of Critical Zones and Urbanisation Conflicts.
