Omer is a master student of International Security at Sciences Po, Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA). He received his Bachelor degree in International Relations with a minor in History from Bilkent University in 2018. Prior to joining Sciences Po, he participated several projects in Turkey conducted by Migration Research Center at Koç University and The Center for Foreign Policy and Peace Research as a research assistant. His research interests include political economy of development, democratisation and political violence with a focus on Sub-Saharan Africa. He is currently René Seydoux and French Embassy scholarships holder.
