How do books and their reviews circulate in the digital age?

Solen is a research and development program on the access to digital text contents in mobility, e-books loan, and e-readers.

Research

Solen is a research and development program on the access to digital text contents in mobility, e-books loan, and e-readers.In our interlinked era, new ways of economical exchanges emerge in the USA as well as in Japan. In France however, the local network of booksellers that keeps supporting a single price is slowing down the development of free networks. Therefore the challenge is to invent new circulation modes that redefine the profession of bookseller while guarantying them the respect of their interests. To prototype a new economical model based on annotated e-books loan. Loan would be low priced and shared by editor and consumer themselves. Questions about social networking and shared annotations are the key point of the innovation proposed.
To question important themes on new collaboratives methods and digital exchanges of the digital era.
